PIA lowers prices by 30%.
For those who are on work visas, Saudi resident visas, and Umrah pilgrimages, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has offered a major fare cut.
Flying for business or on a religious trip? The airline has reduced costs by thirty percent, making it a more affordable option.
Information reveals that from April 7 to April 11, 2024, travellers heading to Jeddah and Madinah would be eligible for discounted rates. Additionally, through April 11th, travellers can take advantage of cheap rates to Riyadh and Dammam.
PIA has slashed prices by up to 20% in an effort to better assist Umrah travellers. From April 7 through April 11, the dates indicated, the fare reduction will be in effect.
Passengers now have increased access to and affordability for air travel thanks to a reduction of up to Rs50,000 in the economy class cost.
A fee of Rs103,680 will be paid in economy class by travellers hailing from the North, including Lahore. Travellers from the southern region, including Karachi, who wish to perform the Umrah, will also need to pay Rs 95,400.
Given that many people perform Umrah journeys during the holy month of Ramadan, the announcement of lower rates is a positive step for passengers.
The Umrah fares were previously announced by PIA to be immediately reduced by up to Rs6,000 on November 3, 2003. As of right now, travellers from Lahore, Islamabad, Sialkot, Peshawar, Multan, and Faisalabad might go to Jeddah at the new rates.
From these locations, the two-way Umrah cost to Jeddah was Rs87,000, excluding tax, a PIA spokeswoman stated. The fare from Karachi and Quetta was Rs79,000.
