Unopposed, Nawaz Sharif is expected to win the PML-N presidential nomination.

The party’s five-member electoral commission, led by Rana Sanaullah. Other members of the commission include Iqbal Jhagra, Khealdas Kohistani, Jamal Shah Kakar, and Ishrat Ashraf.

A party spokesman stated that nomination papers are available to candidates until 5:00 p.m. The paperwork could be turned in tomorrow between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, according to the spokesperson.

“From 1:00 to 2:00 pm, the papers will be scrutinized.”

The election commission declared, “Tomorrow at 4:00 PM, the central general council of the party will elect new president.”

It’s expected that Nawaz Sharif, the former prime minister, will win reelection as PML-N president.

The PML-N general council session’s agenda states that it will ratify changes to the party’s constitution and elect the party president.

The newly elected president and Shehbaz Sharif, the acting president of the party, will speak before the assembly.

During the meeting, resolutions regarding Palestine, Kashmir, and other issues will be approved by the general council.

After originally announcing that the party’s general council meeting for the presidential election would take place on May 11, the PML-N changed its mind and chose to conduct the meeting on May 28 in honor of Youm-e-Takbeer, which is the day that marks 26 years since Pakistan’s nuclear testing on May 28, 1998.
