Muhammad Khan Bhatti, the former PA secretary, receives bail
Judicial Sultan Tanveer Ahmed of the LHC granted bail to Muhammad Khan Bhatti in the issue of his purported illegal recruitment in the Punjab Assembly.
Even though there was no proof against Muhammad Khan Bhatti, he was named in the case, he said in his bail request. He implored the judge to release him on bond.
In a corruption investigation, Bhatti, the former principal secretary, was previously detained by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Bhatti is allegedly charged with corruption in development contracts valued at Rs 1 billion, according to information provided by a NAB official.
Muhammad Bhatti is involved in unlawful appointments throughout Gujarat, according to the spokesperson, and 116 schemes have been approved by him.
