Chinese specialists will soon travel to Pakistan
As instructed by the prime minister, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal presided over a high-level meeting in advance of this visit, according to a press release.
The participation of heads of numerous industries and senior officials from federal ministries underscored the significance of this partnership.
In order to optimise the advantages of the experts’ visit, Ahsan Iqbal gave the ministries instructions to create a thorough plan of action.
The emphasis, he stated, will be on developing the expertise of Pakistani professionals via training and knowledge exchange, drawing on China’s experience in innovation and technical breakthroughs, tailoring creative solutions to Pakistan’s unique requirements, and enhancing skills in important areas.
The minister instructed the line ministries to exercise strategic and selective selection, concentrating on domains in which China possesses substantial experience that Pakistani professionals might benefit from.
As per the 80/20 rule, he directed the ministries to concentrate on the 20% of areas that have the potential to yield 80% of the outcomes.
He pointed out that Pakistan needs to concentrate on ways to increase exports and gain a piece of China’s 2.7 trillion dollar imports.
Minister Iqbal emphasised that Pakistan must take note of China’s strategic technological and intellectual breakthroughs, saying, “China’s rapid development serves as a role model for the world.”
With an emphasis on information sharing and cooperative efforts, the tour seeks to transfer Chinese expertise to support innovation and technology in Pakistan’s many sectors.
The minister emphasised the objective of reaching the Chinese market with fifty billion dollars in exports. In the following ten years, Pakistan’s exports are expected to rise from thirty billion to one hundred fifty billion dollars.
He underlined how crucial it is to use China’s expertise and experience to advance Pakistan’s development.
Ahsan Iqbal stressed that although the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has already created opportunities for investment and growth, its second phase will offer even more chances for technological and industrial cooperation.
He said, “The arrival of Chinese experts will give us numerous opportunities to learn from and directly benefit from Chinese experiences.”
He continued, “We are dedicated to creating a solid foundation for future growth through innovation adaptation, capacity building, and skill development.”
According to the minister, this visit represents a critical step in advancing scientific developments and bolstering bilateral ties while promoting economic growth.
He continued, “The Pakistani government is still fully committed to using international expertise to advance the country’s development agenda.”
