PTI opposes meaningful conversations: Asif Khawaja
According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), talks with General Headquarters (GHQ) are preferable to serious negotiations, according to Defense Minister Khawaja Asif.
The defense minister claimed in a statement that a tense climate prevails because of the mayhem and commotion in the parliament. He remarked, “Alert bells could ring in the current parliamentary environment.”
Rumors that the PTI founder will be arrested again by the government if he is freed are being circulated, according to Khawaja Asif, who advised people to stay away from them.
It would be another story, he continued, “if the arrest was related to another crime.”
According to Pakistan’s defense minister, the country is paying a price for backing US wars, in response to a resolution passed by the US House of Representatives.
“There is no right for any outside entity to meddle in the internal affairs of my nation,” Khawaja Asif continued.
The US has a history of toppling democratic countries, he has previously announced.
Asif Khawaja made the point that the US has a track record of toppling democratic governments and backing those who continue to violate human rights, including the persecution of Palestinians.
According to Khawaja Asif, the Republican and Democratic parties have both accused one another of rigging elections and interfering from abroad.
In other words, he asked why the US should not follow suit and look into claims of election meddling made by the international community, including the United Nations (UN).
