Sanam Javed of PTI has been sent to the Balochistan police.
According to sources, Sanam was presented before the G-11 district court, where the judge approved her transit remand and transferred her to the custody of the Balochistan police.
The PTI worker, who was exonerated by a district and sessions court in Islamabad on Sunday in the case filed against her for posting anti-state content on Twitter, was apprehended again shortly after her release.
Her lawyer, Ashfaq, confirmed the re-arrest of ‘Javed’ on social media, stating that the Islamabad police had apprehended him.
Ashfaq declared, “We surrendered Sanam Javed to the police without putting up any opposition.” This is the appropriate conduct that law-abiding individuals should exhibit, as we have demonstrated.
Sanam Javed was initially apprehended in connection with a complaint filed by the FIA under cybercrime legislation. The case pertains to her actions on May 9, when she purportedly incited individuals to assemble at the Corps Commander House.
After the court’s ruling to set her go, Islamabad Police apprehended her in a separate case.
