FIA Interpol apprehends nine UAE-based wanted criminals

The FIA spokesman stated that the Punjab Police had several cases involving the people who had been arrested.

Accused individuals who have been arrested are Muhammad Rafeeq, Muhammad Usman, Samar Abbas, Najibullah, Muhammad Rafeeq, Muhammad Saqib, and Tariq Mehmood.

The FIA spokeswoman disclosed that several of the accused had eluded capture for as long as 14 years and were connected to murder and attempted murder cases.

With a team already sent to the United Arab Emirates for their extradition, the arrested people will be returned to Pakistan.

An earlier arrest of Rafeeq Ahmed, a wanted criminal from Saudi Arabia, was made by the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Interpol.

Rafeeq Ahmed, the suspect, had been at large since 2016. He was wanted for multiple crimes, including murder.

Ahmed was at last captured in Saudi Arabia after eight years, after the FIA Interpol Red Notice for his arrest. He then returned to Karachi.

66 suspects wanted for significant crimes across several nations were successfully detained by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the and the National Central Bureau (NCB) Interpol of Pakistan during the course of the previous six months, according to a May report.

In order to aid in their capture, FIA-NCB Interpol Pakistan issued red notices for these arrested people, who were wanted in cases involving murder, attempted murder, robbery, kidnapping, and corruption.
