PTI leaders’ bail in a complex vandalism case has been confirmed by the court
Leaders of the PTI Ali Nawaz Awan, Shibli Faraz, Umar Ayub, and others showed up in court to have their bail confirmed, while Ali Amin Gandapur did not attend the hearing today.
The ATC postponed the case’s further hearing until September 4 after approving the PTI leaders’ bail.
PTI politicians were charged by the Islamabad police in 2023 for allegedly “attacking, vandalising, and damaging” the court complex during their previous visit as premier.
A complaint was filed under Section 353/7 of the ATA and other provisions against the PTI leaders and several workers.
The mob was guided by “political party” leaders, the FIR claimed, and they incited the public, which resulted in destruction.
