Rainfall in Karachi: Gulshan-e-Maymar gets the most

The rainfall data indicates that Faisal Base received 11 millimetres, North Karachi received 10 millimetres, and Korangi received 8.8 millimetres.

Rainfall totals for the Old Airport region were 06 mm, Jinnah Terminal 5.8 mm, DHA 05 mm, Keamari 4.5 mm, Surjani 2.5 mm, PAF Masroor Base 1.5 mm, and Nazimabad 1 mm.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, Karachi saw a lot of rain falling in different areas of the city.

Rainfall was recorded at a number of locations in Karachi, including M.T. Khan Road, Sultanabad, Hijrat Colony, Keamari, Old City area, Lyari, Shahra-e-Faisal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Scheme 33, Safoora Goth, Hasan Square, Saddar, I.I. Chundrigar Road, and M.A. Jinnah Road.

It rained a lot at Nazimabad, Habib Bank Chowrangi, and the industrial area. Malir, Landhi, Korangi Shah Faisal Colony, and the vicinity of the airport were also affected by the weather.

The country was expected to see deluges of monsoon rains from August 1 (today) to August 6.

This weather system is likely to cause rain, wind, and/or thundershowers across the nation from July 31 (night) to August 6 (with sporadic breaks).
