The ministry of aviation has decided to look into “corrupt CAA officials.”
Sources disclosed that the decision was made in response to multiple accusations of alleged “corruption” within the CAA.
inquiry will also encompass direct recruiting practices at the CAA, with particular attention to the Flight Standards and SQMS divisions, where it is said that candidates with less experience were passed over for positions.
Additional information leaked by sources indicated that staff-level positions and the hiring of several Assistant Directors, Additional Directors, and Aero-Medical Directors were not done according to merit-based standards.
The Aviation Ministry received complaints about the HR department related to these merit infractions.
