The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized drugs with an estimated value of Rs340 million and apprehended 10 individuals.
An ANF Headquarters official stated here on Monday that the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has detained ten individuals and recovered 373 kg of drugs valued at Rs 340 million during ten operations across the nation.
He said that a traveler who was being held at the Lahore Airport on his way to Jeddah had 783 grams of ice recovered from him.
A package intended for Australia at a courier company in Karachi contained 1.140 kg of ice and 50 grams of heroin.
190 kilograms of heroin were found in the Chaman area after another raid. Recovered from the Pasni and Gwadar areas were 22 kg of opium and 100 kg of hashish. During the operation, an accused person was taken into custody and 31.2 kg of hashish and 1.2 kilogram of opium were found in a car that had been stopped on the M-1 Motorway in Islamabad.
Two individuals apprehended close to a Quetta eatery yielded 12 kg of hashish. On Peshawar Road in Rawalpindi, six kilograms of hashish were found in the custody of an accused person.
Three suspects at RCD Road Hub had six kilograms of hashish found on them. Recovered from two suspects apprehended close to a Lahore university were 2.6 kg of hashish and 260 grams of opium. The arrested suspects have been the subject of Anti-Narcotics Act cases, and additional inquiries are currently being conducted.
