The Met Office predicted heavy rains in Karachi today.

With 90% humidity in the air, the current temperature in the city is 27 degrees Celsius. It is predicted that the maximum temperature would reach 34 degrees Celsius.

Eighteen kilometers per hour of northwest winds are pouring toward the city.

On Tuesday, rain fell in Karachi early in the morning.

Rain fell at Saddar, Shahra-e-Faisal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Landhi, Korangi, M.A. Jinnah Road, Guru Mandir, Soldier Bazar, Liaquatabad, Nazimabad, Site area, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Jail Chowrangi, Safoora Chowrangi, and other areas.

The MET office predicts that Karachi would get rain throughout the day, maybe with some breaks.

Prior to this, on Monday evening, the Pakistan Meteorological Department made available comprehensive rainfall data for a number of Karachi neighborhoods.

Quaidabad got the most rainfall yesterday, at 52 millimeters, according to data supplied by the Met Office. Next highest, with 42 mm of rain, was Gulshan-e-Hadeed. Variable levels of precipitation were recorded in other areas: North Karachi had 29.8 mm of rain, Nazimabad 26 mm, Surjani Town 25.4 mm, Keamari and Shahra-e-Faisal 16 mm, University Road 15.6 mm, Korangi 14.6 mm, and Saddar 13 mm.

A total of 12.6mm, 12.4mm from Gulshan-e-Maymar, 11.2mm from Jinnah Terminal, 11mm from Bin Qasim and DHA, 7mm from Orangi Town, and 4mm from Mauripur were received by the Old Airport.

Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, has warned all local authorities, district administrations, and the irrigation department to be ready to respond quickly in the event of an emergency due to the province’s predicted severe downpour.
