A hundred people were on a PIA flight that just missed disaster.

Around10:50, the pilot reported that there was a mechanical issue and the jet needed to be flown to Islamabad instead of Skardu. but afterwards changed course and didn’t land, going to Skardu.

Flight from Islamabad to Skardu experienced a technical issue. At 10:50 am the PIA flight to Skardu departed from Islamabad. The aircraft’s technical malfunction was reported by the pilot at 11:55.

Returning to Islamabad was the pilot’s order. Following a short while, the pilot said that the technical issue had been resolved.

Instead of making a landing in Islamabad, the pilot decided to return the aircraft to Skardu. In Skardu, the aircraft touched down at 11:45 a.m.

Nawabzada Mir Jamal Raisiani, MNA, a minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, was among the 100 people on board, according to PIA.
