Adiala Jail fights injuries one prisoner
Details reveal that the injured prisoner was attacked with a sharp knife, according to the Adiala jail administration.
After reporting the event to the Sadar Baironi Police Station, Assistant Superintendent Imran Shehzad filed a case against the accused prisoner, Imran Atish.
While the injured inmate is receiving medical attention at this time, the FIR states that the brawl happened three days ago.
Noteworthy to highlight here is the recent attention given to the notorious Adiala jail, home of PTI founder and former prime minister Imran Khan.
Six additional jail employees were detained earlier by security officials as a result of their involvement with the PTI founder.
Reliable sources stated that three women were among the jail’s detained employees. A sweeper, two female wardens, and three CCTV monitoring staff were among the jail staff members who were held, according to sources.
Employee cell phones have been taken into the custody of security personnel. The PTI’s founder and Bushra Bibi were communicating through female employees, according to reports.
After being arrested on suspicion of helping the former prime minister Imran Khan, Zafar Iqbal, the former deputy superintendent of Adiala jail, has returned home, according to reports.
Zafar Iqbal was reportedly arrested on August 13 for allegedly being involved in aiding Imran Khan while he was incarcerated.
