PTI founder files an IHC motion opposing the May 9 cases’ transfer to military courts.
The founder of the PTI submitted a plea through attorney Aziz Karamat Bhandari. The federal government respondents, DG FIA, IG Islamabad, IG Punjab, IG Jails, secretary law, secretary home, and secretary have all been made by the former prime minister.
He has begged the court not to send cases for military court proceedings on May 9.
Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), declared in August that he would extend a conditional apology for the May 9 riots.
Speaking to media representatives at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan stated that the video will assist in identifying the offenders, who he believed deserved to face consequences.
“I will not only remove the offenders from the party but also offer my apologies if it is discovered that they are associated with the PTI,” he continued.
The founder of the PTI questioned why the evidence was being withheld, claiming that his party is the “victim” of the May 9 events.
Imran Khan declared, “It is a crime to hide evidence.”
The PTI founder demanded that an apology be extended to him for his “abduction,” claiming that he was “kidnapped” on false pretences of being arrested.
