Nine persons are abducted by bandits and taken to the Katcha neighborhood of Karachi.

A ransom kidnapping from Karachi was revealed by SSP Aneel Hyder, who stated, “The facilitators of dacoits, working as laborers in factories in the city, have sent nine people to katcha area.”

“Assists are being made to ensure the safe return of an additional five kidnappees, four hostages have been retrieved,” claimed SSP. According to him, these are the cases that the police have been informed of.

He added the criminals had demanded a ransom of more than 10 million rupees in exchange for the captives’ safe return. “Aneel Hyder stated that they are currently requesting costly cell phones as ransom.”

“The victims’ thoughts were made up by the facilitators in the industries, who assured them of better employment and futures. When they hand over the victims at the katcha region, they head back to the factories,” a police official said.

According to the police officer, “They come back to hunt a new victim.”

“Numerous individuals have been abducted via honey-trap tactics, deceiving their victims with proposals of marriage, lucrative jobs, and additional allures,” the speaker stated.

“Mostly elderly individuals kidnapped with a strong proposal of marriage,” he continued.
