Seven Fitna al-Khawarij eliminated in Mianwali operation

Seven terrorists affiliated with the proscribed organization Fitna al-Khawarij were eliminated, while eight others successfully evaded capture, as reported by a CTD spokesperson.

The CTD recovered six hand grenades, safety fuse wires, seven Kalashnikov rifles, ammunition, and explosive materials during the operation.

A search operation is currently underway to capture the fleeing terrorists, and roadblocks have been set in proximity to Makarwal. The identification process of the slain terrorists remains ongoing.

The CTD said that the terrorists were orchestrating a significant assault on Mianwali.

On September 7, security forces prevented an assault on the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Mohmand district, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the attack was executed by a contingent of four suicide bombers linked to the extremist organization Fitna al-Khawarij.

The security forces successfully prevented the attempt to enter the camp, resulting in the demise of the four suicide bombers before they could inflict harm.

The ISPR announced that a sanitization operation was underway to eradicate any remaining terrorists in the vicinity.
