A tank police vehicle attack claimed the lives of two officers.

According to information, the police car was out on a normal patrol when they were ambushed by unidentified gunmen. The remains of the victims and those injured were taken to a local hospital.

A police station explosion in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, earlier this week claimed two lives and injured a number of others.

The explosion happened on Thursday night in the warehouse area of the police station, which was used to store a lot of explosive stuff that had been taken from terrorists.

District Police Officer Haroon Rasheed claims that a short circuit appears to have caused numerous detonations, which in turn caused the explosion.

A huge fire breaks out in the police station, and then there is a strong explosion, according to surveillance footage that was able to collect.

Teams from rescue and fire departments were on the site quickly, transporting the injured to the Bacha Khan Medical Complex where emergency services were proclaimed.

The second victim passed away on Friday while receiving care at the hospital due to their injuries.

After learning about the event, KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur gave the inspector general and chief secretary instructions to head straight to the Swabi police station.
