A team of Saudi investors meets with COAS General Asim Munir
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reports that the agenda items for the meeting included areas of shared interest and strategies to improve Pakistani-Saudi collaboration across the board.
COAS Asim Munir conveyed his appreciation for King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s steadfast support of Pakistan.
The Chief of Staff emphasized that the Saudi business delegation’s visit is indicative of the long-standing and fraternal ties between the two countries. He wished for the mutual benefit of both nations from this visit.
The Saudi delegation received full support assurances from General Asim Munir.
The Saudi delegation already had a meeting in Islamabad with President Asif Ali Zardari.
The president restated Pakistan’s steadfast resolve to stand in solidarity with Saudi Arabia and expressed Pakistan’s profound admiration for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, the Saudi Arabian Crown Prince and Prime Minister, was also commended by President Asif Ali Zardari for his visionary leadership. In addition to expressing gratitude for the Kingdom’s ongoing support of Pakistan through difficult times, he praised Saudi Arabia for the outstanding accomplishments it was making under Vision 2030.
Pakistan’s strategic location, as well as its potential for renewable energy and natural resources, were acknowledged by Saudi Arabia, according to Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih.
