IHC calls authorities from the Ministries of Defense and Interior over the missing Intizar Panjotha case.
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has ordered comprehensive reports from the interior and defense ministries about a petition that seeks the return of PTI focal person Intizar Panjotha, who has gone missing.
IG Ali Nasir Rizvi of the Islamabad Police was questioned by Chief Justice Aamir Farooq over the status of the investigation at the case hearing.
The judge said, “Where was the last location?” In response, the attorney said, “F-6 was the last location; we don’t know after it.”
IG Islamabad announced the formation of a special investigative team under the direction of the SSP probe. “We have utilized safe city cameras and digital surveillance to attempt to track him down,” the police chief declared.
He claimed, “Cameras at F-6 and Ayub Chowk have spotted Intizar Panjotha’s car.” He travels to Faizabad with Mirza Asif lawyer, as well, the police chief revealed.
Something on WhatsApp surfaced, he said, a mobile number. “At present, there is no information regarding the WhatsApp location that we receive from the IB,” IG stated.
Tomorrow is when the court has scheduled a second hearing in this case.
