The Chinese Premier has arrived in Islamabad for the SCO conference.
Ministers and high-ranking officials, including representatives from the China International Development Cooperation Agency, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the ministries of foreign affairs and trade, are with PM Li Qiang.
The delegations of Prime Minister Shehbaz and Premier Li will conduct a thorough discussion of all facets of Pakistan-China relations, including commercial, economic, and cooperative efforts under the China-Pakistan Economic Cooperation (CPEC). Regional and worldwide developments will also be discussed by the two parties, the statement stated on Sunday.
The Chinese premier will meet with Pakistan’s top military officials and parliamentary leaders in addition to paying a visit to President Asif Ali Zardari. According to the statement, he would also be present at the SCO conference in Islamabad.
It said, “It will be an occasion for the two sides to reinforce regular exchanges on important regional and global developments; advance high-quality development of CPEC; and reaffirm mutual support on issues of core interest.”
