PTI leader Azeem Lakhvi reappears and refutes claims of kidnapping

Azma Bukhari, the Punjab Information Minister, made the assertion that PTI leader Azeem Lakhvi is “detained” in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, prompting the correction.

According to Azeem Lakhvi, who is currently in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with friends, he was not abducted.

Though ignorant, Azma Bukhari is the minister of information for Punjab. We are here voluntarily, adhering to party directions; nobody has apprehended us,” Azeem Lakhvi stated.

He further stated that he is currently alone himself and unaccompanied by any other MNAs. He further denounced the treatment that Mubeen Arif and other PTI members were receiving.

“Mubeen Arif, observe. His factory’s electricity was cut off, and equipment was dispatched to destroy it,” he said.

Furthermore, according to Azeem Lakhvi, Sheikh Waqas’ gasoline station was blocked, his transport company was closed, and Javed Iqbal Warraich’s home was demolished.

Additionally, he said that Haji Imtiaz’s brother’s home was attacked, claiming that such measures are being attempted to intimidate and repress PTI members.

Separately, the D-Chowk in Islamabad was the site of a demonstration today (Tuesday) that was originally arranged by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

There were reports that the PTI political committee decided to postpone the protest during one of their meetings.

Since the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit is taking place today, the PTI political committee decided to postpone their demonstration at Islamabad’s D-Chowk.
