Three May 9 suspects have non-bailable arrest warrants issued for them.
Details indicate that Latif Ali, Abdul Jabbar Baghi, and Abdul Rehman—the three accused—will now be taken into custody and brought before the court after failing to show up for their scheduled appearance.
Violence and the destruction of both public and private property characterized the May 9 protests in Peshawar, and one person died as a result.
Meena Khan Afridi, the provincial minister, is also included in the case, which has been postponed till October 19.
A previous instance of lack of evidence led the Anti-Terrorism Court to exonerate all 18 suspects in the May 9 riot case, including PTI employees.
