PTI has issued a call for nationwide protests today.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has declared that protests will occur in every district and city following Friday prayers.

He asserted that the party will vehemently contest any choices that contravene the nation’s interests. He asserted that PTI will oppose any unlawful actions and will safeguard the constitution and the law.

Gandapur also called for the release of PTI leaders and workers, attributing any resultant losses to the government’s decisions.

Previously, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had deferred its demonstration planned in Islamabad’s D-Chowk on October 15.

The resolution to defer the protest was reached in a meeting of PTI’s political committee.

The PTI’s political committee deferred its protest at Islamabad’s D-Chowk due to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit scheduled in the capital on October 15 and 16.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan announced that his party has opted to defer their ‘peaceful’ demonstration after receiving an official communication from Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi representing the government.

Barrister Gohar stated that the government guaranteed a medical examination for PTI founder Imran Khan and reinstatement of access to his physician.

Before this, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur stated that the PTI is entirely ready to conduct a protest march in Islamabad on October 15.

The chief minister articulated the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s concerns on the health status of the incarcerated party founder, Imran Khan.
