A civilian was killed during a police confrontation in Karachi.

As reported by SSP East, the victim, named as Farhan S/O Lataf Khan, was struck by crossfire during a police pursuit of suspected thieves in the Surjani region.

Dr. Farrukh Raza, SSP East, verified that the injured individual was sent to the hospital in serious condition, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.

The police are diligently seeking the suspects accountable for the event.

On the previous day, an individual was fatally shot by unidentified assailants in the North Nazimabad region of Karachi.

According to police officials, the deceased individual was identified as Fazal Zaman. A letter from the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) was discovered in the victim’s vehicle, requesting permission for commercial shops, prompting authorities to speculate that the individual may have been involved in the real estate sector.

SSP Zeeshan Shafiq indicated that documents obtained from the victim imply that the occurrence may be associated with personal animosity.
