A NA speaker asks President Asif Ali Zardari on his health.

Speaking on the phone with Bilawal Bhutto, the chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), National Assembly (NA) Speaker Ayaz Sadiq asked about President Zardari’s health on Friday.

President Asif Ali Zardari, who broke his foot when he arrived at the Dubai airport from Pakistan, was asked about his health by NA speaker Ayaz Sadiq over the phone.

Asif Ali Zardari’s speedy recovery was wished for by the NA speaker. Doctors advise the president to rest completely, Bilawal told the NA speaker.

For his well wishes and encouragement, the PPP leader congratulated the NA speaker.

When President Asif Ali Zardari disembarked from an aircraft at Dubai Airport last night, he broke his foot. The president was in the United Arab Emirates on a private visit.

A spokesperson for the president said the president was brought right away to the hospital for initial medical care.

The statement stated that following an inspection, physicians placed a plaster on his foot, which would be in place for four weeks. It is been recommended that President Zardari stay at home and recuperate entirely.

The planned official visit to China by President Zardari, which was supposed to start in the first week of November, has been postponed due to his foot fracture.

According to officials in the Foreign Office, President Zardari’s injury has been reported to the Chinese authorities. Once his health has recovered, the president is likely to travel to China next month.
