Three children were among the five people killed in the Mastung explosion.

According to the reports, an explosion happened at Mastung’s Civil Hospital Chowk, next to a police vehicle.

Consequently, five individuals—three schoolchildren, a police officer, and a bystander—were killed, while numerous others were injured. The bulk of those hurt, according to the authorities, are schoolchildren.

Everyone who was hurt has been taken to Civil Hospital, where an emergency has been implemented.

A suicide bomber targeted an Eid-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) procession in the rural Bastung province of Balochistan last year, killing at least 55 people, including a police officer, and injuring 100 more.

One among the dead, according to the district administration, was Nawaz Gashkori, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Mastung.

Near DSP Gishkori’s vehicle, the bomber detonated himself, according to police, who described the incident as a “suicide blast.”

Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital in Mastung received 30 bodies, according to CEO Dr. Saeed. Five of the 19 bodies that were submitted at DHQ Hospital Mastung were moved to Civil Hospital Quetta, according to the Medical Superintendent (MS).
