Two “suicide bombers were apprehended.” In Balochistan
According to sources, two suicide bombers were captured during focused operations in different parts of Balochistan. The terrorists who were captured were allegedly preparing attacks on foreigners and security personnel in Karachi.
Additionally, the mastermind of a planned suicide attack on Chinese engineers at the signal of Karachi Airport has been arrested in Windar. Four additional terrorists were also apprehended during intelligence-based operations (IBOs) from different places.
The platform of the Quetta railway station on Saturday caused at least 26 fatalities and over 40 injuries, including to women and children.
When Commissioner Quetta Hamza Shafqaat gave an account of the tragic Quetta railway station bombing, he stated that 26 people were killed and over 40 injured when the explosion occurred at 8:25 a.m.
The explosion happened as the Jaffar Express was leaving, and many people were at the train station, according to the police.
According to railway officials, two trains—the Jaffar Express and the Chaman Passenger—were planned to leave Quetta for Peshawar and Chaman, respectively. At the time of the explosion, both trains’ passengers were on the platform.
