If Donald Trump supports PTI, the PML-N leader says there will be “horrendous intervention.”
A prominent leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Khurram Dastgir, issued a dire warning on Sunday about the “horrendous intervention” that may occur if the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were to receive support from US President-elect Donald Trump.
While criticizing the PTI founder, Dastgir made the following statement: “The PTI founder had released the Taliban commanders on the United States’ instructions back in 2018.”
An analysis by Dastgir revealed that “the US had limited its interest in Pakistan after its withdrawal from Afghanistan to a greater extent.”
The speaker noted that Trump had previously stated, upon his 2016 election, that Pakistan is an excellent nation and that its prime minister, Nawaz Sharif, is an admiral.
We did not set out to receive a phone call from the president of the United States. The two nations will meet to discuss any problems, Dastgir stressed.
As far as Khawaja Asif is concerned, the United States will stay out of Pakistan’s domestic issues.
U.S. officials have recently stated that they would stay out of Pakistan’s domestic matters, according to Defense Minister Khawaja Asif.
Asif expressed his views on Samaa TV and criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stating, “Some of the people are causing uproar that US President-elect Donald Trump will release their leader [PTI founder].”
“It is highly unlikely that the US will exert any influence over the affairs concerning the PTI founder,” Asif declared.
Asif addressed PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, saying, “Nawaz Sharif had never kowtow to the United States.”
To have “balanced relations with the United States” was his stated goal for Pakistan.
