Pakistan’s pharmaceutical exports increased 31.11% in the first quarter of FY2024-25.
Pharmaceutical exports in Pakistan increased by 31.11 percent during the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2024-25, compared to the same months last year.
According to the most recent numbers issued by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), pharmaceutical exports from the country totaled US $105.936 million from July to September 2024-25, compared to US $80.796 million from July to September 2023-24.
Meanwhile, year on year, pharmaceutical exports increased by 61.55 percent in September 2024 compared to the same month the previous year.
Pharmaceutical exports from the country totaled $43.607 million in September 2024, compared to $26.992 million in September 2023.
Pharmaceutical exports increased by 53.78 percent month on month in September 2024 when compared to exports of US $28.357 million in August 2024, according to PBS data.
Separately, car sales in Pakistan have increased by an impressive 112 percent year on year.
The Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) released new figures showing a significant increase in car sales.
According to the study, car sales increased by 50 percent in the first four months of the current fiscal year, with 40,693 units sold compared to 27,162 units in the same period the previous year.
Sales increased by 112 percent to 13,108 vehicles in October 2024, up from 6,180 in October 2023. Sales increased by 27% month on month as compared to September 2024.
