The Punjab government starts an internship program for shrimp farmers.
On the occasion, Maryam Nawaz said that young people with degrees in zoology, aquaculture, and fisheries would receive hands-on training in shrimp farming. The interns would also receive a six-month stipend of Rs 50,000.

The “Kisan Card Programme,” which Maryam Nawaz Sharif introduced earlier on October 28 in Hafizabad, aims to give small farmers vital financial support.
Under the scheme, farmers can obtain loans of up to Rs 150,000 per crop season to purchase seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides using their Kisan Cards.
According to CM Maryam Nawaz, who spoke at the Hafizabad launch event, the initiative’s budget has been increased to go from 500,000 to 750,000 Kisan Cards.
Moreover, CM Maryam Nawaz declared that free tractors would be given to farmers who owned more than 25 acres of country. According to the chief minister, she would give farmers free rental use of agricultural equipment.
