Dine-in services will be restricted to a cut-off time of 4 PM, but takeaway orders will be permitted until 8 PM. The decision seeks to reconcile public health initiatives with the ongoing functioning of food enterprises in the area.

Lahore District Administration Enforces Action Against Smog Violations
LAHORE: The Lahore district administration has intensified measures to mitigate smog by enforcing stringent actions against businesses and cars that contribute to air pollution.
Fifty stores were sealed for breaking Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and thirty-four restaurants were closed for infringing upon designated working hours as part of a series of enforcement measures. Furthermore, 32 vehicles spewing smoke were halted, and 109 vehicles received citations. The enforcement led to penalties exceeding Rs. 500,000 for automobiles producing detrimental emissions.
Retailers and restaurateurs faced penalties, with fines of Rs. 120,000 levied for noncompliance with anti-smog legislation.

Three stores, eight restaurants, twenty-five barbecue establishments, and two bakeries were blocked in Tehsil City.
12 stores, 15 restaurants, and 2 bakeries closed in Tehsil Sadr

Five stores and one restaurant were blocked in Tehsil Shalimar.
Six stores and four restaurants were blocked in Tehsil Wagah.
