Roshan Digital Account (RDA) remittances reached $8.953 billion by October 2024, up from $8.749 billion at the end of September 2024.
Latest statistics from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) show that remittance inflows were US$ 204 million in October 2024, up from US$ 168 million in September and US$ 165 million in August of the same year.
Those millions of non-resident Pakistanis (NRPs) who want to bank, make payments, or invest in Pakistan can take advantage of these accounts’ cutting-edge banking options.
Also, from 746,251 accounts in September 2024 to 757,587 accounts in October 2024, a jump of 11,336 accounts was recorded under the program.
Worldwide Pakistanis have put $393 million into Naya Pakistan Certificates, $687 into Naya Pakistan Islamic Certificates, and $45 million into Roshan Equity Investment as of the end of October.
Pakistanis living abroad now have a new way to invest in Pakistan and send money home: the Roshan Digital Account. It was launched by the State Bank.
Let it be known that in September 2020, the Roshan Digital Account initiative was initiated by former prime minister Imran Khan with the goal of offering digital banking services to Pakistanis living abroad for the very first time in Pakistan.
