Three Khwarij are killed by security troops in Bannu IBO.
An Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press statement stated that Security Forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Bannu District in the early hours of Friday in response to reports of Khwarij’s presence.
It stated that three Khwarij were sent to hell and two Khwarij were hurt as a result of the operation’s successful engagement of the Khwarij site by the own forces.
The deceased Khwarij were also found to have weapons, ammo, and explosives. They continued to be actively involved in a number of terrorist attacks against security personnel and the targeted murder of defenseless civilians.
“Sanitization efforts are underway to eradicate any additional Khwarji in the region, as Pakistani security forces are committed to eliminating the threat of terrorism from the nation,” the statement added.
At least twelve security guards accepted martyrdom on November 20 when they committed suicide at a checkpoint in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Khwarij tried to strike a joint checkpost in the MaliKhel region, the ISPR said. The Khwarij had to drive an explosive-laden vehicle into the post’s outer wall after troops successfully blocked their attempt to infiltrate.
In addition to causing damage to the surrounding infrastructure and the collapse of a piece of the perimeter wall, the suicide blast claimed the lives of twelve individuals, including two Frontier Constabulary soldiers and ten security forces soldiers.
Security forces and law enforcement organizations are committed to eradicating the threat of terrorism, according to the ISPR. It said that the brave men’s sacrifices went much farther to strengthen our resolve.
