The £190 million lawsuit involving Bushra Bibi’s non-bailable arrest warrants

Judge Nasir Javed Rana of the accountability court heard the case and issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Bushra Bibi, according to the information.

The court also heard a £190 million dispute involving former prime minister Imran Khan.

PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have previously been granted bail by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in the £190 million National Crime Agency (NCA) settlement reference.

After the arguments were concluded, a two-member bench made up of Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri and IHC CJ Aamer Farooq reserved the ruling.

As soon as possible, the IHC ordered the authorities to release the PTI founder in exchange for a Rs. 1 million surety bail.

Separately, Bushra Bibi encouraged PTI employees and supporters to join the party’s planned November 24 protest, which has been nicknamed the “final or do-or-die” demonstration against the government, in a video message released yesterday.

After the calls and their journey to Madinah, Saudi Arabia, she said, propaganda started against them.

According to the PTI founder’s wife, Khan was referred to as a “Jewish agent” and her character was assassinated after the conversations.

The NCA case

In connection with the purported acquisition of hundreds of canals of land in the name of Al Qadir University Trust, which allegedly resulted in a loss of 190 million pounds for the national exchequer, Imran Khan, his wife, and others were the subject of an inquiry by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

According to the charges, the former prime minister and other defendants allegedly manipulated Rs50 billion, or 190 million pounds at the time, that the British government received from the National Crime Agency (NCA).

A corruption reference was filed by the NAB against Imran and seven other people, including his wife, in relation to Al-Qadir University.

On December 26, 2019, the PTI leader registered the Al-Qadir University Project Trust.
