Bandits attack a checkpoint in Sukkur, killing a police officer and injuring others.

A police officer was martyred and several were injured when bandits attacked a police checkpoint in the Katcha neighborhood of Gaddpur, close to Pano Aqil.

After the assault, the attackers left the area. To catch the escaping robbers, a sizable police presence has been sent in.

A postmortem has been ordered for the martyred officer’s body, and the injured officer is being treated at the Taluka Hospital in Pano Aqil.

In Kandhkot, bandits attacked the Ghelpur police checkpoint, killing one officer and wounding two more in a gunfight, according to police officials.

According to sources, two injured police officers and the body of the slain officer were taken to Kashmore Hospital.
