Bushra Bibi’s container caught fire during the PTI protestÂ
According to details, the authorities burned a number of containers as part of a large-scale operation against PTI demonstrators in Blue Area.
Rumor has it that Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur were inside one of the charred containers. Police also attested to the fact that they arrived at the scene in the same container.
The demonstrators purposefully burned trees to lessen the impact of the security forces’ shelling. However, Bushra Bibi and Gandapur’s container was consumed by the uncontrollably spreading flames.
The Blue Area was successfully cleared of PTI demonstrators by the authorities. According to sources, Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur drove away together.
Police halted a car that was transporting security guards for Ali Amin Gandapur in the meantime. The IG for Islamabad gave law enforcement instructions to make sure Bushra Bibi stayed inside the boundaries of the federal capital.
The operation, which covered the area between Khyber Chowk and Kulsoom Plaza, involved about 1,500 members of the Rangers, Punjab Police, and Islamabad Police. The crackdown resulted in the detention of about 450 PTI demonstrators.
Mohsin Naqvi, the interior minister, had earlier given police the go-ahead to deal with the PTI demonstrators.
Accusing the previous first lady of masterminding the turmoil that resulted in the loss of lives and property in Islamabad, Mohsin Naqvi said that “one woman” was responsible for all of the material and human casualties.
