Bushra Bibi refused to move the PTI demonstration, according to Shaukat Yousafzai

Shaukat Yousafzai, the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), voiced concern over the recent events’ lack of coordination within the party leadership, highlighting poor decision-making and lost possibilities for engagement on the Bakhbar Savera initiative.

Key party leaders have come under fire from Yousafzai, who said, “Those in positions of authority have disappointed us.” Ali Amin Gandapur was used as a scapegoat, and there was no discernible leader between Peshawar and Islamabad.

Thinking back on the strategic choices, he asked, “Why wasn’t bargaining a priority? Why did we go to D-Chowk instead of Sangjani when the party founder told us to go there? Everyone except Bushra Bibi agreed on Sangjani.

Bushra Bibi’s participation was highlighted when he said, “She has no political position, but her position overruled others.” He also questioned why other leaders weren’t present, posing the question, “Where was General Secretary Salman Akram Raja during all this?”

Additionally, Yousafzai expressed his annoyance at the absence of more seasoned members from decision-making, stating, “Our opinions were ignored.” The party should expel us if we are deemed politically irrelevant.

He said, “What happened with our workers is deeply saddening,” and apologized for the way party workers were treated. If nothing else, Ali Amin Gandapur attended the sit-in. At that time, where were the party’s prominent speakers?
