Thanks to Punjab for’rejecting’ the PTI protest, Maryam Nawaz

Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the chief minister of Punjab, thanked the people of Punjab for their strong opposition to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and denounced their protest march as anarchist and sedition.

Maryam Nawaz thanked the Punjabi people for not supporting the protesters in a statement released on Wednesday following the PTI’s protest march in Islamabad.

The chief minister of Punjab further emphasized that the administration is acutely aware of the difficulty that the people has experienced as a result of the protest’s disruptions.

In response, she ordered the immediate reopening of all internal and external routes across Punjab to restore normalcy and ensure the smooth movement of traffic.
