Pakistan observes Palestinian Solidarity Day.
We are commemorating the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People today.
The international community joins together on this day each year to support the Palestinian people’s rights, dignity, justice, and right to self-determination.
In separate statements on the occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s inalienable right to self-determination and the creation of an independent State of Palestine with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
They reaffirmed Pakistan’s appeal to the international community, including the UN Security Council, for an unconditional ceasefire in Gaza to be implemented immediately and for the Palestinian people to be granted unimpeded access to humanitarian aid.
Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people’s intrinsic right to self-determination has been reaffirmed.
In his statement, President Asif Ali Zardari vehemently denounced Israel’s relentless aggression.
The international community’s involvement in bringing an immediate truce and a stop to the extermination of Palestinians was confirmed by him.
The Palestinian people have been tenaciously enduring a campaign of ceaseless genocidal assault, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s statement.
“Israel has committed the egregious murder of more than 43,000 innocent men, women, and children in the occupied Palestine,” he stated.
Pakistan would continue to support the courageous and tenacious Palestinian people in their righteous battle, Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed.
Pakistan’s unwavering dedication to the Palestinian cause was again reiterated by Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch.
