Aleema Khan quarrels with Salman Raja and Barrister Gohar on the Nov. 24 casualties
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, Salman Akram Raja, and Aleema Khan, the sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, got into a furious argument in the Adiala Jail courtroom.
The PTI chairman expressed his dismay at the unsubstantiated reports of hundreds of casualties, claiming that he was unable to provide such evidence.
“Did you visit the homes of martyrs and injured party workers?” inquired Aleema Khan of Barrister Gohar.
“Do you know how many people are missing?” Gohar asked. Teams have been established, according to the PTI chairman, to confirm the number of people killed during the Nov. 24 PTI protest.
Barrister Gohar inquired as to how the number of casualties could be given without any hard proof.
Even though Salman Akram Raja agreed with Gohar’s position, he emphasized that “for God sake, don’t misquote the workers appearing in courts as missing.”
