We’ll keep fighting for the constitution’s supremacy. Salman Akram Raja
He declared, “We will keep fighting for the supremacy of the law and the constitution in Pakistan.”
Regarding PTI founder Imran Khan’s response to the “deaths” of party workers during the security forces’ operation to evacuate D-Chowk, the protest site where party leaders and workers had gathered to demand Khan’s release, Raja said the PTI founder was deeply saddened to hear of the workers’ deaths. According to Raja, he stated that “the government should have avoided use of force to disperse people.”
Meanwhile, the Peshawar High Court (PHC) accepted the transit bail of Raja.
Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim of the PHC conducted a hearing into Raja’s plea.
“This is the season of cases,” Raja begged throughout the hearing. I have no idea where or when I will have to deal with another case that has been filed against me.
Earlier, the court granted three-week transit bail to the PTI secretary general.
