PTI requests that the Punjab CM’s “hateful” remarks against the PTI founder and employees be banned by the LHC.

The court staff objected to the petitioner’s attorney’s claim that a certified copy of the Supreme Court’s ruling was included with the petition. The court’s response was, “We will summon the concerned staff member who raised the objection.”

The hearing on a petition submitted by PTI Vice President Akmal Khan Bari was presided over by Justice Farooq Haider. The High Court official who had raised the objection was called before the court.

The PEMRA chairman and other individuals are included as respondents in the petition. According to the petitioner, the Chief Minister of Punjab is inciting resentment among party members by making hateful remarks about the PTI’s founder and the organization.

The suit asks the court to order the PEMRA chairman to prohibit the Chief Minister’s hate speech-filled statements from being televised.
