IHC requests a report on the travel prohibition for Zartaj Gul.
It has been reported that the IHC bench, which included Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, ordered the appropriate officer to show up for the upcoming hearing.
In a petition submitted by her attorney, Zartaj Gul claimed that her name was still on the Exit Control List (ECL) even though she had been granted bail in 47 instances, including 21 involving terrorism.
The petition argued that the PTI leader’s name was taken off the ECL at first but then added again. Her name should be taken off the ECL; the court was asked to order the authorities.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the Ministry of Interior, the Punjab Home Department, the Punjab government, and the Islamabad police were all listed as parties in the petition. The federal government was identified through the Ministry of Interior.
On December 14, an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad released 32 detainees who had been detained in relation to the recent violent demonstrations at D-Chowk in the capital.

After the police failed to present enough evidence against the suspects, who were taken into custody on November 25, the court made its ruling, the investigators said. During the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Islamabad, the police brought 32 individuals to ATC Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain for violent acts.
The accused were placed on physical remand for 30 days, as requested by the capital police, but the court denied their plea.
According to Anser Kiani, the suspects’ attorney, the accused are defenseless workers who were taken from their homes and imprisoned “just to meet the count.” He said that the identification parade had not been held by the police and that he was now requesting a 30-day physical separation.
