For the next 24 hours, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mostly dry and chilly weather for the majority of the country, with extremely cold and partly cloudy conditions in hilly regions.

In the morning, there is a chance of shallow to moderate fog (in patches) in a few locations in Northeast, South Punjab, and Upper Sindh.

The country’s higher regions are experiencing a shallow westerly wave, while the majority of the country is experiencing continental air, according to the synoptic situation.

Over the past 24 hours, the majority of the country has seen chilly, dry weather, with mountainous regions seeing extremely cold and partly cloudy conditions. A few locations in central and southern Punjab experienced shallow fog.

On Monday, the temperature in Leh dropped to -9 degrees Celsius, making it the coldest place in the nation.
