In Karachi, strong winds cause the temperature to drop.

The weather report states that on December 24 and 25 (today and tomorrow), Karachi will experience above-normal high winds, with northeastern gusts of up to 25 to 35 km/h.

The temperature is predicted to drop due to the winds. Last night, the lowest recorded temperature was 13.5 degrees Celsius.

The temperature is expected to drop sharply throughout the night, to a single digit, while the daytime high is expected to stay at about 26°C.

Along with parts of Balochistan, this cold wave also affects several other parts of Sindh. Temperatures in Quetta, Kalat, Zhob, and Ziarat have already dropped below freezing.

The AQI level of the particle matter was 199 today, indicating that Karachi’s air quality has been worse amid the cold winter.
