ASF stops a smuggling attempt to Saudi Arabia in a massive operation at Karachi Airport

A passenger on an aircraft headed for Jeddah was successfully stopped by the Airports Security Force (ASF) while trying to carry heroin.

During a standard baggage inspection, ASF officers found more than 1 kilogram of heroin hidden in the traveler’s possession. An estimated Rs. 12 million is the street worth of the seized heroin.

After the accused was arrested, more research is being done to find any possible connections to bigger drug networks.

In order to protect airports and travelers, the ASF reaffirmed its dedication to keeping an eye out for illegal activity.
