The PM departs for a one-day visit to Karachi.

In order to officially launch the Federal Board of Revenue’s Faceless Customs Assessment System at the Karachi Port Trust, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left for Karachi on Wednesday for a 24-hour visit.

The PM Office said in a press statement that the facility will decrease clearing time and increase transparency in customs clearance.

The prime minister had ordered the installation of this automated system during his most recent visit to Karachi, and he would also be visiting the South Asia Pakistan Terminal at the port.

Additionally, he is scheduled to visit the Pakistan Stock Market and witness the ceremony that will recognize it as the world’s second-best-performing stock market in 2024.

Additionally, Prime Minister Shehbaz will be a distinguished guest at the official launch of the Manual of Clinical Practice Guidelines at Agha Khan University.

Along with the prime minister will be Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Ministers Muhammad Aurangzeb and Attaullah Tarar, Minister of State Ali Pervez Malik, and Health Coordinator Dr. Mukhtar Bharath.
