Bushra Bibi’s requests for temporary bail are denied by an Islamabad court.

Bushra Bibi, the wife of Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), unsuccessfully petitioned a federal capital sessions court on Monday for temporary bail in three separate instances involving the November 26 protest.

Additional Meetings The ruling was made by Judge Afzal Majoka during the hearing, which was attended by prosecutor Iqbal Kakar and Bushra Bibi’s attorney Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry.

On his client’s behalf, attorney Chaudhry submitted petitions for temporary bail. In response, the judge noted that no surety bonds had been filed as of yet.

Bushra Bibi’s counsel stated that his client had to go to the Adiala Jail, where a verdict in a case worth 190 million pounds is scheduled to be announced by an accountability court.

“You are not implementing the court orders,” the judge said. Later, he resolved the bail requests.

The verdict in the corruption case against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, worth 190 million pounds, will be made public today (Monday).

At 11:00 am, the verdict at Adiala Jail will be announced by Judge Nasir Javed Rana of the accountability court.
