Sections of the motorway must be closed due to dense fog.

On Sunday and Monday night, dense fog once more engulfed plain Punjab and Sindh, immobilizing daily activities and causing traffic jams.

Traffic movement has been severely impacted in a number of cities by the dense fog. According to a spokeswoman for Motorway, all traffic on the M3 from Lahore to Rajana, M4 from Shorkot to Multan, and M5 from Multan to Rohri has been stopped.

The Grand Trunk (GT) Road is the preferred route for travel, according to the motorway police. Fog lights should be turned on while driving, they have urged.

The highway police have also asked people to stay at home and refrain from needless travel. In addition, dense fog has caused poor visibility on the National Highway at a number of locations throughout the province.
